31st March, 2025
An independent publisher of adventurous and innovative non-fiction since 1985, Reaktion Books celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
With a list that ranges widely across art and visual culture, biography, food history, general history, music, natural history, philosophy, politics and popular science, Reaktion Books has been publishing outstanding non-fiction for four decades.
Reaktion Books is the successful publisher of Peter Ackroyd, Paul Baker, Eleanor Parker, Kerri Andrews, and Helen Macdonald among many others.
To mark the anniversary, Reaktion Books have updated their logo, and will be offering incentives to customers and booksellers alike. Promotions throughout the year will herald the company’s fifth decade in publishing.
Publisher Michael R. Leaman says: “Reaktion remains dedicated to creative publishing driven by talented writers and brought to readers by our committed and energetic team.”
