Permissions
For all permission requests, please use the PLSclear search box below.
Search for the book you wish to use by title, author or ISBN, complete the resulting form with as much information as possible and submit. Please note you need to be registered with PLS and logged in to their site to send permission requests.
If you are interested in obtaining foreign language or territorial rights for a Reaktion title then please email our Rights Director Maria Kilcoyne, maria@reaktionbooks.co.uk.
Picture permissions
In general, we do not hold the copyright to individual images that appear in our books. We hold the copyright to the book, but the individual images are usually owned by the artist, photographer or entity who created them. To obtain permission to reproduce an image you must contact the copyright holder directly. You should find this information in the photo credits or picture acknowledgements of the book in question.
Inspection copies
Desk and exam copies of certain titles are available to lecturers who wish to consider books as course texts. A maximum of three titles may be requested and retained for 28 days’ inspection. All books not returned, or adopted, will be charged for at a 20% discount.
If you wish to order an inspection copy then locate the book on our website, click ‘REQUEST COURSE / REVIEW COPY’ and fill out the details on the request form.
