Frank Coppa
Frank J. Coppa is Emeritus Professor of History and Director of Doctoral Studies in Modern World History at St John’s University in New York. He is the author of The Life and Pontificate of Pope Pius XII: Between History and Controversy (2013) and The Papacy Confronts the Modern World (2003). He was awarded the first lifetime achievement award of the American Catholic Historical Association, and cited by it as a world-renowned scholar of the modern papacy.
